Honey gingerbread is exceptional, easy to prepare and simple to replicate.
After the honey has been heated and becomes fluid, mix it with the sugar, eggs and the other ingredients, then work it into a firm dough. Let it set briefly. Now roll the dough out until it’s a half centimeter thick. Cut the dough with a cookie cutter and place the gingerbread onto a baking sheet. Should you choose, garnish the cookies with almonds and other nuts. Bake the gingerbread at 150 degrees in a convection oven (or at 180 degrees using a standard non-convection oven) for approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
After cooling, the gingerbread can be frosted with chocolate or icing. Keep the gingerbread in a cookie tin.
